This course is designed to provide students with the fundamental knowledge needed for organising, developing, and implementing a business concern within the private free enterprise system. Topics of study will include learning the advantaged and disadvantages of owning a business, preparing a business plan, choosing a location, securing a loan, determining organizational structures, and promoting a business. If you are looking into a career in the fields of Business, Accounting, Finance, and Entrepreneurship, this class will benefit you. Joining FBLA is also highly recommended. (1 credit) 11-12 (10th grade with prior approval).

Prerequisite: Algebra I or Algebra A and Algebra B.
