What are your plans for next year?

My plan is next year is to attend State Tech and get a degree in Agricultural Business.

What School Activities are you involved in?

At school I am involved in FFA, FBLA, NHS, Student Council, Environmental Club, and Archery. I serve as the Recording Secretary for FFA and the Vice President for NHS.

What is your favorite High School Memory?

My favorite High School memory is getting to be a water girl with my friends for the 2025 Football season.

What class in High School do you/did you enjoy the most?

The class I enjoyed the most was 4th Hour Ag Communications with Mrs. Parman. We got to plan and prepare a lot of fun events and have food parties quite often.

Who do you admire the most and why?

The people I admire the most are my parents. I admire my Dad because he is always willing to help anybody that needs it. He is always so understanding and shows up for everything my sisters and I do. He is also one of my favorite archery coaches. I admire my Mom because she is the perfect example of what it is like to love everybody. She is one of the strongest people I know, and my sisters and I's biggest cheerleader. I strive to be like both of my parents one day, and I am so blessed to be their daughter.

What teacher had the biggest influence on you and why?

The two teachers that influence me the most are both of my ag teachers, Mrs. Parman and Mr. Schmidt. While Mrs. Parman and I have only had one year together, she is truly one of the most inspiring people I know. She has taught me what it is like to be a real leader, and take charge when you feel it needs to be done. Mr. Schmidt has had to deal with me for quite some time, and he has taught me a lot during it. While he is good at teaching me about livestock and record books, he is also great at teaching me how to "build my character". Mr. Schmidt has taught me how to handle anything that comes my way, and handle it well. I am so grateful I got this time with both my my ag teachers.

What is the one thing you will miss most about South Shelby?

The thing I will miss about South Shelby is the feeling of home. Whenever you walk into the building you instantly feel welcome. All of the teachers do an amazing job of making everybody feel like they belong here. South Shelby has been my home for my whole life, so I will definitely miss it.
