Dr. Billy Daleske

The Shelby County R-IV School District Board of Education has selected Dr. Billy
Daleske as the next superintendent of schools. Dr. Daleske is currently serving as
superintendent for the Braymer C-4 School District. His extensive career in
education displays his dedication to students and the communities he has served. 

Board President Mr. Aaron Kendrick stated, “The board was impressed with Dr.
Daleske’s experience as a superintendent, his leadership and the innovation he
has provided the Braymer C-4 School District.”

The board chose Dr. Daleske after partnering with the Missouri Association of
Rural Education to conduct a national search. Dr. Daleske’s expertise in program
development, community relations, and communication skills make him an ideal
candidate for the Shelby County R-IV School District.

Dr. Daleske is originally from Warsaw, MO. He earned his Bachelor of Science in
Education from Central Methodist University in 2008, his Master’s Degree in
Educational Leadership in 2012, and a Specialist Degree in 2017 from William
Woods University. Dr. Daleske received his Doctorate in Educational
Administration in 2019 from Lindenwood University. He has served as a school
superintendent for the past two years at Braymer C-4 School District. Prior to
becoming a superintendent, he served as a building administrator in the Warsaw
R-IX School District for 9 years. Dr. Daleske and his wife Kensie have two sons.

Dr. Daleske will assume his duties as superintendent effective July 1, 2024.
Current Superintendent Mr. Troy Clawson announced he will retire at the end of
the 2023-24 school year after serving 32 years in education. Mr. Clawson has
served the Shelby County R-IV District as Superintendent for the last 4 years.

Superintendent and on-going dedication to the Shelby County R-IV School
District.”
