FCCLA MO State President, Sofia Eleazarraraz and chapter member, Abigail Lootens, met with MO State Senator, Rusty Black, to discuss the importance of CTSOs in education. They will be at the Capital the next two days for Legislative Shadowing.



Congratulations to the SSMS Scholar Bowl team for notching a victory against Brookfield! Top scorer was Coltin, with 5 toss ups answered. Great TEAM effort!

What is the favorite activity to do with your family? Watching reality TV
What School Activities are you involved in? Member of FFA, FCCLA, Environmental Club, FCA, STUCO; Secretary of FBLA; Ladybird Basketball, FFA Soils Team.
What is your favorite High School Memory? Going to the Cadaver Lab
What class in High School do you/did you enjoy the most? I enjoyed going to MACTEC, to become a Certified Nurses Aid, Phlebotomy technician, and EKG Technician
If you had one wish what would it be? I would wish for love, support, and self-improvement.
Who do you admire the most and why? I admire all the ladies in my life, especially Maggie Schmidt. Maggie has taught so much in and out of healthcare. She is always there for me and willing to listen and support me. She will let you know you are great, but is not afraid to tell you when you are making a bad decision. I strive to be Maggie now and later in my life. Whether it is in healthcare, being a supportive mother, or just a great person overall.
What teacher had the biggest influence on you and why? Mr. Hillard has had the biggest influence. He has taught me everything science I need to know to be successful in healthcare. He is always there for his students, and pushes us to be better versions of ourselves.
What is the one thing you will miss most about South Shelby? I will miss seeing my dad everyday, and him being there if I ever need money.


The Elsberry-South Shelby Sectional Game will be broadcast on 97.3 KTCM

Due to the basketball game tomorrow, spring sports practice can start at 2 pm. Shuttle bus at 3:45.
