Congratulations to South Shelby Lady Bird, Sofia Eleazarraraz for being the catcher chosen out of 27 schools to be on the elite NEMO Pressbox Stars Softball Team. There is only room for one catcher on the NEMO Pressbox Stars Softball Team and Sofia was voted as the top catcher to receive that one spot against some tough competition throughout Northeast Missouri.
Below is the very first NEMO Pressbox Stars Softball Team. The 15-player team was selected by a vote of NEMO Pressbox coaches and made up from nominees from 27 different school. This is a very highly regarded award and all of these girls earned this recognition.

There will be a ceremony honoring the NEMO Pressbox Stars Softball Team on Wednesday, November 6th at 7 pm at Monroe City High School. Admission is five dollars, cash only. Refreshments will be served.
