South Shelby FCCLA attended Region 3 Fall Meeting today at MACC. South Shelby is represented by State Officer and National Liaison, Sofia Eleazarraraz, and Regional Officer, Titus Moore and Ashley Sievers. Pledge of Allegiance was lead by Chapter Officer, Lillie Broughton.

6th grade Botanists investigating leaves. Missouri leaves are being classified by their common name, scientific name, leaf composition, leaf shape, leaf venation, uses to man, uses to wildlife , and various hypothesis are being discovered. Science is EVERYWHERE! There is no escape!
7th grade ELA is reading "Hatchet" by Gary Paulsen. To go along with this unit, students wrote formal, persuasive letters to convince Mr. Bowen why adding a survival course to the curriculum might be useful.
