Home Football Game information-
*We are bringing back the pass gate entry. If you have a pass to get in the games you can enter through the east entry between the Doc Lichty wall and the ticket booth. If you are paying admission you can enter through the ticket booth or by the baseball/softball complex.
*We have several families with small children that sit behind the east end zone. Please help to keep that a safe area for everyone by restraining from playing football or any other rough activities.
* We look forward to seeing everyone at the games this season to cheer on the Cardinals!
Due to the excessive heat warning the Milan at South Shelby football game will now kickoff at 8pm instead of 7. Hope to see you there!
We had a GREAT 1st day at SSHS. Senior sunrise at 6:00 AM, Classroom Instruction, ending with Individual Fall activity pictures. Thanks SS Students.
Elementary Dismissal Procedures:
The school day begins at 8:00 am and ends at 3:32 pm. In order to maintain security and safety within the building, the elementary will keep a closed campus during the school day as described in Board Policy 2630. The closed campus will continue throughout our dismissal time. We are asking that parents wait outside the front doors of the school in their cars when students are dismissed. Students will be brought out to the front of the school and delivered to your car. Please remember to avoid our Handicapped Parking so that those with a need can use that space.
The doors will remain locked during the day and at dismissal time. Visitors are asked not to ring the doorbell from 3:15 pm to 3:32 pm while teachers are coordinating the safe departure of our students. If you have business to take care of in the office please be sure to do it before 3:00 pm or after 3:35 pm. Also, parents and other patrons of the school are asked to make an appointment if they have a need for a conference with a teacher or other staff member. This allows all of our staff members to proceed with their assigned duties without interruption (Board Policy 1430).

Don't forget to fill out the Meal Benefits (Free/Reduced Meals) for your students. This can be done on the parent portal under the "more" tab. You could also print off an application from the school's website under meal benefits, or ask for a paper copy at your students building office.
