Senior Spotlight: Miranda Patterson
Miranda Kae Patterson, will be a 2023 graduate of South Shelby High School, is the daughter of Dr. Steve and Jennifer Patterson. She is the sister of Matt Patterson and Michael Patterson.
My Favorite Childhood memory: Listening to the Space Jam album while shooting in the gym with dad
Activities I'm involved in: Basketball, Softball, FFA, FCA, NHS, Environmental Club, Shelbina First Christian Church
The activity that I enjoy the most is basketball because I love playing, I love my teammates, and I love what we, as a team, have been able to accomplish together.
My favorite High School Memory is when the basketball team made it to state.
The class that you enjoyed the most is Public Speaking because it's exciting. Public Speaking allows me to work on life skills, push me out of my comfort zone, and talk about topics I find interesting. Also Mrs. Mudd’s pretty cool, I guess.
Outside of school, I enjoy reading, drawing, making YouTube videos
If I had one wish it would be to attend an AJR concert
After High School, I plan to attend Maryville University in St. Louis to play basketball and get my degree in Exercise Science.

Class 3 school, the ticketed event will be in the class 2 listing at the same venue. The class 3 event description will state they must purchase their ticket in the class 2 event and will include a link directing them to the class 2 event. Additionally, attached is a QR code for Monday and Tuesday's contest that will direct you to our contest.

Doors open Monday and Tuesday night at 5pm. Class 2 plays before our games at 6pm. Both our teams will play at 7:45.

We will have a Pep Bus for those HS & MS students wanting to attend the Girls Sectional Basketball game @ Hannibal on Tuesday. ALL students will be required to sign up in the HS/MS office and be required to show proof of ticket purchase before getting on the bus. We will need a minimum of 20 students to provide the bus. Bus will depart South Shelby at 6:00pm.

Quarterfinal, Show-Me Showdown) are to be purchased digitally through the MSHSAA website. There will be no tickets sold at
the door. All tickets are on sale within 24 hours of qualifying. One ticket is good for all games on that day at that venue. For digital

District Champs!
Cardinals beat Palmyra 39-22 to win the District Championship! Great job to the players and coaches.
The South Shelby National Honor Society hosted our annual Red Cross Blood Drive yesterday. It was a successful day, as we collected 35 units of blood, which exceeded our goal of 24 units for this year! Thank you so very much to our staff, students, and community members for supporting us in achieving our goal!
Mrs. Eleazarraraz's Child Development class took a field trip this morning to help at the PAT Parent Café at North Shelby.
