JV boys kickoff the Knox Co Tournament with a win. Play Wednesday night at 7:30

Senior students are progressing in challenging writing and speaking assessments: they work hard, whether it involves preparing a criteria-based argument essay or successfully delivering and recording a prepared speech! We're proud of our seniors!

Senior Spotlight: Ellie Jackson
Ellie Ray Jackson, a 2023 graduate of South Shelby High School, is the daughter of Jenna and Wes Begley and Curtis Jackson. She is the sister of Daisy, Wyatt and Westin Jackson.
Her favorite activity to do with her family is going on vacation. Disney World is her favorite childhood memory.
Ellie is involved in FFA and the Shelbina First Christian Church.
Her favorite high school memory is attending the FFA National Convention her freshman year.
The class that she enjoyed the most is Art because it was always interesting.
Outside of school, Ellie enjoys mudding with friends, and hanging out with family.
If she had 1 wish it would be to bring her Aunt Julie back.
After high school, Ellie plans to go to MACC for child development. Her goal is to own her own daycare.
The person she admires most is her mom, Jenna. This is because she is strong, determined and successful. She has taught Ellie a lot.
The teacher that has had the most influence on Ellie is Mrs. Van Houten because she challenges Ellie and tells her "you got this" everyday.
The one thing Ellie will miss about South Shelby is her friends and some of the teachers.
Senior Spotlight: Zach Hays
Zach Hays, a 2023 graduate of South Shelby High School, is the son of Danny and Darla Hays.
The activity that Zach enjoys the most is running equipment at work because it is fun and he is learning a lot by doing it.
After High School, Zach plans on working construction at ESS.
The one thing that Zach will miss the most about South Shelby are the good teachers he had.
