SS Ladybird Basketball Camp is in the books! Excited for games for the summer! The SS Shootout starts on Monday morning with some Cardinal bball in the morning in thee HS gym and runs through Friday. Check out the schedule!

Tuesday Night Softball league at South Shelby has been cancelled for tonight, June 3rd, 2025.
Mrs. O'Neal's 5th grade students had fun during their field trip to Mark Twain Cave, Chocolaterie Stam, Mississippi Marketplace, and the Lighthouse!

It has been a great week for South Shelby Basketball! These two groups have been working their tail feathers off all week! High School camped wrapped up this morning with 21 Cardinals! Middle School camp finishes up tonight with 11 Cardinal campers so far!
Congratulations to Tucker Elliott, John Schmidt, and Gage Timbrook for being named to the CCC All-Conference Team!
Shelby County R-IV is seeking quality applicants for the position of Assistant High School Boys Basketball Coach for the 2025-2026 School Year. The Position requires applicants to meet the MSHSAA Coaching Qualifications. The Shelby County School District operates on a Four-Day School Week and offers a competitive salary schedule. Congrats to Belle, Samentha, Gracynn and Callie for breaking their own school record and claiming a second place finish in the 4x400m relay at the MSHSAA Class 2 State Track meet! 🥈
Freshman Samentha Koper! She brought in the bronze with a 3rd Place finish in the 800m!!
She also broke a 45 year old record set in 1980 by D Hirrlinger by over 2 seconds! 2:23.3 was the old record.

Congrats to Gracynn Lanpher, Sofia Eleazarraraz, Belle Roush & Callie McWilliams for collecting TWO medals and ending their season as the FASTEST Sprint Relays in SSHS History!
Congrats to Charlie Roush for collecting her 2nd Medal of the weekend! 8th place in the Shot Put!
