Senior Spotlight: Remington Maubach
Remington Stanley Maubach will be a 2023 graduate of South Shelby High School is the son of Greg and Anna Maubach and the brother to Dominic.
His favorite activity to do with his family is go hunting, fishing and boating.
The activities which Remington is involved in are FFA and Trapshooting. FFA is the activity which he enjoys the most because of traveling and meeting new people.
The class that Remington enjoyed the most is Ag Metals. He liked making projects that he can use on the farm.
Oustide of school, Remington enjoys working, hunting, fishing and driving the Jeep with friends.
If he could have one wish it would be to become the largest land owner in the county.
After High School, Remington plans to start farming with his dad.
The people he admires the most is his dad, Greg and Grandpa Bob. They have taught Remington the value of hard work and made Remington who he is today.
The teachers that had the most influence on Remington was Mr. Larrick and Mr. Mitchell. "Mr. Larrick taught me the direction I want in my life, and Mr. Mitchell taught me the importance of being a good person.
The one thing I will miss the most about South Shelby is seeing my friends everyday.

Thanks to all that participated in the tournament. We won 1st place!! We had another middle school STATE qualifying score of 3124. Individual STATE scorers include Gabe Bowen, Bree Gill & Jace McWilliams. Gabe was the top scorer for the tournament with a 288! Way to go!
