My favorite/worst high school memory is whenever we was playing football on the field for homecoming week and I went up to deflect a pass throw to Christopher Roush and I came down on top of him and broke his collar bone and had to drive him to school for 2 weeks because of it

Mr Schmidt’s ag class
Who do you admire the most and why?
I admire my dad the most cause he has showed me that hard work pays off and things don’t come easy that you have to work for them. He has also showed that some things in life will be very tuff but you will get through it no matter what as long as you have confidence
What teacher had the biggest influence on you and why?
Mr. Schmidt has the biggest influence on me because whenever Schmidt has a bad day he finds a way to get through and make the most outta it and that goes to show how you can get through life. Mr. Schmidt has also taught me how to weld better which can affect on how and what I do outta school
What is the one thing you will miss most about South Shelby?
The one thing I will miss the most about south Shelby is the friends around me and the FFA meetings.

FCCLA Star Events regional competition was held at Laplata H.S. Schyler Mason competed in Career Investigation receiving gold and advancing to state. Samentha Koper, Gracelynn Claypoole, and Madison Blevins competed in Entrepreneurship receiving gold and advancing to state. Lillie Broughton and Kaiden Pool competed in Chapter Service Project receiving gold. Sofia Eleazarraraz and Titus Moore attended as evaluators.

Grandma Ona because even through all her challenges she has had to face she still has a positive out look on life and is always willing to help others around you.
What teacher had the biggest influence on you and why?
Mr. Larrick because he showed me that it is ok to be scared to try new things but as long as you try you are doing your best.
What is the one thing you will miss most about South Shelby?
The positivity that everyone strives to bring into the school day.

What is your favorite High School Memory?
Freshman year, Band competitions. They were always so fun. I miss dancing, doing colorguard and meeting new people, I also loved our reactions after we find out we won. Most of all I miss the seniors on the dance team freshman year. These are my favorite memories mostly because they were my first memories of High School.
What class in High School do you/did you enjoy the most?
Anatomy, felt like I learned a lot and it was the class I was most interested in especially going into healthcare.
Who do you admire the most and why?
I admire my older sister the most, being my older sister Ive always looked up to her the most anyways, she is one of the most trustworthy people I know, she is confident and carries herself with self assurance, shes empathetic and understands, and connects with my feelings and always offers the best advice. Shes all of the amazing things I wish to grow up to be.
What teacher had the biggest influence on you and why?
Mr. Hillard always had the biggest influence on me. He really helped me make decisions moving forward to college, what classes I should take, and things that would help me while taking them. He is always there for anyone no matter who you are.
What is the one thing you will miss most about South Shelby?
I will miss seeing all the farmilar faces I've grew up with most of my life

What are your plans for next year?
I plan to go to State Fair Community College where I will be running track and start studying to become a Speech Pathologist
What School Activities are you involved in?
I am involved in basketball, softball, track, NHS, FFA, FBLA, STUCCO, and environmental club.
What is your favorite High School Memory?
My favorite high school memories are the days of homecoming week when we got to decorate floats and do the homecoming games. Memories after big basketball games are also some of my favorites too.
What class in High School do you/did you enjoy the most?
I enjoyed Ag III junior year, having only 5 kids in our class. There were always so many laughs as Emmett was usually making funny jokes.
Who do you admire the most and why?
I admire my parents the most. My mom is selfless, will always feed a group of friends if they come over, knows how to help my siblings and I with anything we ask her about, and is someone who everyone gets along with. My dad is silly, funny, the fastest person alive to fall asleep, works hard, and most of all someone who gives me the best advice after any sporting event.
What teacher had the biggest influence on you and why?
One teacher that had the biggest influence on me was Mr. Schmidt. He gives good advice and is always there to help with anything Ag related.
What is the one thing you will miss most about South Shelby?
I will miss getting to play the sports that I have for the past four years and I will also miss not getting to see my friends everyday.
