Currently South Shelby has our Creed Speaker, our Secretary's Book, 3 Record Books, 8 State FFA Degrees, and 7 Proficiency Awards going to State.
We dyed eggs and then went on a scavenger hunt outside and created bird nests for our eggs.
We learned why some birds lay their eggs in the spring.
Congrats to BT Horner and Lily Green for earning Silver Ratings at the State Solo and Small Ensembles Contest.
Congrats to Lancing Moore, Victoria Escamilla, and Abigail Looten for earning Gold Ratings at the State Solo and Small Ensembles Contest.
Congrats to the South Shelby Band and Choir who recieved an "outstanding" rating at the CMU Music Festival.
If the weather holds, Madison will have enough kids for a varsity baseball game only tomorrow night, starting at 5:00.

JV Scholar Bowl missed 3rd place by only 20 points to Macon.
Varsity Scholar Bowl fall in round 2 against Centralia and then miss 3rd place by only 10 points against Clark County. They played great games!!
Yesterday the AP Biology class finished up one of the most challenging labs in the curriculum, the bacterial transformation lab. They did great and had a blast!

Today the Transportation Department received a 100% on their Bus Inspections.
Intro to FACS 8th graders finished 3rd quarter with a foods unit. The chocolate chip cookie lab was a big hit!
