What is your favorite High School Memory?
My favorite high school memory is probably getting to be a part of the marching band through all of high school. I really enjoyed being able to be the drum major this year during marching band season.
What class in High School do you/did you enjoy the most?
My favorite class in high school was Civics with Mr. Mitchell.
Who do you admire the most and why?
I admire my dad, Kirk Moore the most because he is very hard working and he is always so patient with people. He does not get mad easily. I have never heard him yell or raise his voice, the only reason he would is if someone would be doing something unsafe. He also loves to help people with anything they might need. My dad works every day and works very hard. He is very wise and really cares about people. He is always there for me whenever I need him and he is very good at just sitting and listening no matter what.
What teacher had the biggest influence on you and why?
The teacher that has had the biggest influence on me during high school is Mr. Mitchell. He is always asking how we are doing and making sure that we are doing okay. He always has a smile on his face and welcomes everyone. He is also very passionate about what he teaches and makes sure that we understand what he is teaching. He is also someone who will just sit and listen. He has taught me that it is important not to judge others and to always be willing to listen no matter what.
What is the one thing you will miss most about South Shelby?
One thing I will miss about South Shelby is the loving and welcoming environment. I love all the teachers that have taught me and just how caring everyone is. I will miss a lot of my teachers because they all care so much about me and my success in my future, and I could never have asked for better teachers and staff members to be around and be taught by during my middle school and high school years.

What School Activities are you involved in?
FFA - President, NHS - Treasurer, Football Cheer - Captain, Environmental Club, FBLA, and STUCO.
What is your favorite High School Memory?
My favorite High School memory is my first time going to National Convention my Freshman year when my entire room didn’t wake up the last morning and ended up cleaning the busses when we got back. Not because we woke up late and cleaned the busses, but because I had so much fun with the smallest amount of sleep possible throughout the entire trip.
What class in High School do you/did you enjoy the most?
I enjoy my Ag classes the most. These classes allowed me to become involved in the agricultural world. Without these classes I would not have even imagined being where I am today, and both of my Ag teachers always make me feel so confident when trying new things.
Who do you admire the most and why?
I admire my mom the most because she does so much work without getting all the credit and has always encouraged me to do hard things, along with my dad. I strive to be a mom like her to my future kids one day.
What teacher had the biggest influence on you and why?
Many of my teachers have made a huge impact in my life, but the teacher that made me really get out of my comfort zone was Mr. Schmidt. Schmidt is always there when you’re having a bad day and usually knows what to say but can always offer a laugh if he doesn’t. He really helped me grow out of my comfort zone last year while I was on his contest team. He helped me remember to appear confident in my abilities even if I wasn’t and I have used this advice in many different areas of my life since.
