Elementary art students have been learning about pop art this year. They got to display their food themed pop art during Grandfriends Day.
Elementary Art Students made their favorite foods out of clay to display during Grandfriends Day. They did a great job. Everything looked delicious!
Our art shows take a lot of work to get ready. Students get to take a leadership role in selecting the themes, projects, and setting everything up. Everyone did a great job preparing, but here are a few students who went above and beyond, and gladly took on extra work to make our pop art food exhibits look amazing!
Seven SSMS 7th & 8th Graders participated in the District Junior High Honor Choir on April 14th. Almost 300 7th & 8th graders from district schools gathered in Columbia to rehearse all day & perform a concert together that evening.
