Mrs. Eleazarraraz, FACS teacher and FCCLA adviser, was chosen by DESE to participate as a mentor in Missouri's Mentor/Protege Program. Mentors and Protégés came together in Jefferson City this week for their first meeting.

South Shelby Middle School opened up the season with a victory over Westran 48-20



Noah 2nd with a time of 17:34. Cooper 3rd with a time of 18:38. Beau 5th in 19:00. Titus 6th with a time of 19:04. Schyler 12th with 19:52. Max with 17th place in 21:10. The boys placed 1st with a score of 27 points. All of the boys set new personal records for this course.









Samentha got 2nd place with 22:33. Jordyn placed 11th with 25:46 and Kylee ran her first race of the season in 24:35 and placed 6th! Nice job, ladies

Shoes from the Heart: Thank you Clarence Christian Church and Shoes from the Heart for donating shoes to our shoe closet again this year.


Thank you to Northeast Missouri Health Council for coming to South Shelby Elementary to do dental screenings and varnish applications. Around 200 kids were able to get a dental evaluation today!


Mrs. O'Neal's class learning about the Engineering Design Process. Strongest Structure using only 15 index cards! Impressive! One held 98 books before it fell!
