A great start for our Cross Country season! Noah received a 7th place medal. Beau ran a great race and medaled in 18th place. Boys placed 3rd overall at the Mexico Invitational as a team. We had lots of Personal Records. Samentha received 10th place in the Varsity race and Jordyn medaled with a 6th place finish in the JV race. Our next meet is September 10 @ the Highland Charge.

The band programs at North Shelby and South Shelby are looking for volunteer helpers to work a shift at the Shelby County Classic band competition. This classic, held on Saturday, October 5th, will celebrate music in our schools and host schools from around the region. This is our second year hosting this event, and it does not run without the support of everyone! Please email laneb@nshelby.k12.mo.us if you are interested and able to volunteer for a shift.
We hope to see you at the Classic!

Madison trap shoot today at Prairie Grove in Columbia— it was a wet one with weather delays but we made the most of it! Great job to all and thank you to all who sponsored our trap shooters hats and shirts. Thanks to Chandra for organizing it all!
