La Plata Softball Tournament October 5th. (time change from original post)

So during the last week of school last year, I was taking to the boys in my class about how some schools have started competition BBQ teams. These boys thought that it would be an awesome idea and wanted to try it. So I did some planning over the summer and scrounged around for some equipment we could use until we can build up to better and we had our first practice. 17 kids have been a part of the meetings but we had 4 come to practice last night to cook burgers. And our generous staff members volunteered to serve as judges. Congrats to Ethan Blevins for have the best scored burger but they were all very close.

Today was about practicing torch and wire welding skills.
