What is your favorite High School Memory? Playing the homecoming candidate games
What class in High School do you/did you enjoy the most? ACT Prep with Mr. Winston
If you had one wish what would it be? To be successful
Who do you admire the most and why? My mom because she inspires me to live my life to the fullest and shows me how hard work pays off.
What teacher had the biggest influence on you and why? Mr. Hillard because he taught me a lot about the degree I'm hoping to pursue.
What is the one thing you will miss most about South Shelby? Getting to hang out with all of my peers.

Emma plans to attend State Tech in their Medical Radiologic Technology program.
She loves to go bowling with her family.
School Activities: Varsity Football Cheer, treasurer for environmental club, vice president for FBLA, FFA member
Her favorite high school memory is Prom last year.
Emma's favorite class is ACT Prep with Mr. Whiston.
If Emma had one wish it would be to be successful.
Amanda is the person Emma admires the mostbecause she has pushed Emma to meet her goals and she has always had her back during the most difficult times throughout high school.
Mr Hillard had the biggest influence on Emma because he has helped her realize that hard work pays off and he knows how to explain the criteria so we can understand it better.
The one thing that Emma will miss the most is the end of the year games, and all her friends.

What you your plans for next year? Attend Central Methodist University and dual major in criminal justice and psychology
What is the favorite activity to do with your family? Go to wrestling every weekend
What School Activities are you involved in? Dance, Track and FCA
What is your favorite High School Memory? Anytime during Dance, Basketball or Track seasons. As well as getting All American Dancer and being able to dance in London England.
What class in High School do you/did you enjoy the most? AP Biology and any history class
If you had one wish what would it be? Helping anybody in need, especially kids.
Who do you admire the most and why? My mother because she deals with so many medical issues on a daily basis and I´ve never seen her give up. She is the most resilient and strongest person I know and I thrive to be like her.
What teacher had the biggest influence on you and why? I have 4 teachers that have equally made in a difference for me. Mr Hickman has always seen potential in me and always pushed me to go beyond the normal, he also has encouraged me a lot and has been my #1 fan. Mr Hillard has shown me that I can still have fun and be relaxed even though I take life too serious. Mr Whiston has always helped to keep a smile on my face or help me laugh when it is hard to. Coach Gunterman is the one person that has encouraged me since day 1 and has helped push me past my limits and stay motivated, he also has helped shape me into the athlete and student I am today.
What is the one thing you will miss most about South Shelby? Sports

Students in Mrs. O'Neal's 5th Grade Social Studies class participated in a simulation about "No Taxation without Representation!" The students were able to feel the frustration of the Colonists during this time and begin to understand this was another cause leading to war.
