The lunch table conversations...
What class in High School do you/did you enjoy the most?
Anatomy, the dissections and trips were the best part!
Who do you admire the most and why?
My parents. They have worked very hard to get where they are today, and now have very successful careers. But they always seem to find time for us girls, and make sure we have every opportunity to follow our dreams. Me and my sisters are very blessed to have such great role models.
What teacher had the biggest influence on you and why?
Mr. Roth's science classroom is where my love for the subject was able to thrive. I remember we learned about the genetics of spiders through a simulation where we were able to influence the offspring. Now all these years later, as I am ready to go on my own path, science and genetics will both be a big part of the career I have planned as of now.
What is the one thing you will miss most about South Shelby?
Comfort. Always knowing where to go, having people to talk to always, and having somewhere to land when I fail will be a hard thing to leave. But in order to grow, I will need to leave that comfort and take risks to become the person I wish to be.

Who do you admire the most and why?
I admire my father the most he has taught me what it takes to be a man. My dad has really stuck hard with me because he says, I want you to have a career and retire cause he's never going to. My father is the only reason I'm still in school I gotta show everyone I can do it.
What teacher had the biggest influence on you and why?
Mr. Mitchell no matter how his day was he always has a smile on his face and really stuck by me to make sure I wasn't going to fail. He has coached me through school and I always get to shake his hand and get told to have a good night. I cant forget Mrs. Tiffany, she always makes me put a smile on my face.
What is the one thing you will miss most about South Shelby?
Something I will miss is the activities I was a part of such as Football and Archery. They really kept me in school. Oh and being a hand full for the teachers.
