We're looking for elementary students who like taking pictures to submit photos for our nature photography showcase! Please contact Mrs. Snider with any questions and photo submissions at hsnider@cardinals.k12.mo.us by Aug. 14. We can't wait to see your photos!
The summer session of the Ladybird Basketball Skill Academy is scheduled for July 13th, 20th and 27th. This is for 5-8th SS Girls Basketball Players. It will be from 11a-12:15p each of these days.
***NOTE*** this will be in the MS gym (due to fresh wax in the HS) and you will have to enter the west doors at the far end of the gym due to concrete work out front.

FCCLA National Leadership Conference has come to a close. Sofia Eleazarraraz, as our Missouri State President, attended meetings, Officer trainings, lead the Missouri State STAR Events Recognition ceremony and accepted the award for increased membership in the state of Missouri.
FCCLA National Leadership Conference Day 2 in Denver, CO. Sofia Eleazarraraz, Missouri State President, represented Missouri during the Parade of Flags to kick off the Opening General Session. She also participated in State Officer Training and led the Missouri State Meeting.
Sofia Eleazarraraz and South Shelby FCCLA Adviser, Staci Eleazarraraz, headed to National Leadership Conference this morning. Sofia will be representing Missouri as the Missouri FCCLA State President. NLC is held July 1-6 in Denver, Colorado.

Come out to Clarence Homecoming until 8:30 to enjoy cake and ice cream with FCCLA. All proceeds go to help fund our activities throughout the year.

Shelby Co. R-IV has partnered with ESS to manage our substitute program. ESS & South Shelby are hosting a Hiring Event on Mon., June 12 from 10-12 and 1-3 in the MS Library to meet with the ESS team & learn about become a Sub. Teacher and Sub. Aide for the upcoming school year.
Sofia Eleazarraraz is in Jefferson City the next two days representing South Shelby FCCLA, Missouri Region 3 FCCLA and Missouri State FCCLA as the Missouri FCCLA President. Together this executive council will make plans for the upcoming year.
Fun watching the SS Ladybirds at the KC June Jam. They were the Tournament Champions.
