South Shelby JV teams will travel to Clark County on Monday Jan 24th to replace Brookfield. This is due to Brookfield not having enough girls to play JV games at this point in the season. Girls game starts at 6 followed by the boys.
RESCHEDULED
Due to the cancellation of school, the Middle School Winter Sports Awards Assembly will now be Friday, January 28th starting at 2:00 in the Middle School Gym. All Parents are invited to attend.
All basketball games have been canceled for the week of 1/17/22-1/22/22. We have moved the varsity game at Schuyler Co. to Wednesday the 26th, starting at 6pm. We will keep you updated if any other changes occur.
School Cancellation at Shelby County R-IV - Due to the increase of illness among the staff and students, South Shelby will be cancelling classes, Vo-Tech and before and after school activities for rest of the week (January 19-21). Classes and activities will resume on Monday, January 24th.

The North Shelby Tournament has been cancelled due to sickness within the school district. South Shelby has picked up 2 varsity games, both on the road. We will play Schuyler Co Wednesday the 19th (6:00 tip) and Scotland Co Friday the 21st(6:00 tip). All JV Games remain the same.
The K of C free throw contest scheduled to be held at the Middle School today is postponed until next Saturday.
The South Shelby FFA Greenhand/Chapter Degree Ceremony scheduled for tonight has been postponed. We will be rescheduling this event for a later date.
No School at Shelby County R-IV. There will be No School and No Vo-Tech on Friday, January 14th due to inclement weather.
Macon has cancelled classes for tomorrow so No Vo-tech tomorrow Friday 1-14-22. South Shelby students need to be at SS by 11:40 AM.
Reminder- tonight's JV and Varsity boys home basketball games vs. Louisiana will begin at 5:30.
