
Our art shows take a lot of work to get ready. Students get to take a leadership role in selecting the themes, projects, and setting everything up. Everyone did a great job preparing, but here are a few students who went above and beyond, and gladly took on extra work to make our pop art food exhibits look amazing!






Seven SSMS 7th & 8th Graders participated in the District Junior High Honor Choir on April 14th. Almost 300 7th & 8th graders from district schools gathered in Columbia to rehearse all day & perform a concert together that evening.

These 7th Grade boys, with the help of Mrs. Barratt, have been working hard on their ukulele part to the song "Count on Me" for the Middle School Spring Concert! The general music classes will perform, along with the middle school bands, at 9:00am on May 21st in the SSMS gym.


Aladdin KIDS opened on Tuesday the 15th! Come see their final show at 2:00 pm on Thursday, April 17th in the SS High School Gym!



Mrs Stevenson's Physical Science students have been busy designing and building Mouse Trap cars. They will test their cars next week for speed and distance.

Mrs Resa's math class last year. Always had fun with friends in that class and she is a good teacher

I admire my parents the most because they are always there for me and work hard at everything they do

Coach Parmen because he is always making me laugh and having a fun time. You can also talk to him about anything and he is good at giving advice.
What is the one thing you will miss most about South Shelby?
I will miss playing sports with my friends and seeing them everyday


Hannibal Golf Invitational Champs!! South Shelby shot a season low 316 to get the win!! Great job!!
