La Plata Softball Tournament (Oct. 4th)
It's been another fun couple of weeks in Elementary Music!
PreK played instruments to a story & used scarves to show differences in music. K & 1st played a partner game. 4th learned a circle game. 5th drummed & analyzed different versions of the "Star Spangled Banner."
South Shelby JV football fell to Monroe City . Back at it next week at home vs Westran
Tomorrow nights softball game at Palmyra will be JV first, followed by varsity. 5pm start time.
Ladybirds fall to Macon 11-1 in 5 innings.

South Shelby FCCLA attended the Region 3 Fall Meeting this morning at Schuyler County high school. Members participated in various workshops and participated in leadership activities with other FCCLA members from our region.

Another great "Brain Break Friday" to encourage socializing over technology. Round robin games of Pop Darts.
Fires are lit! First BBQ Team practice was a big success. Definitely some big competition between the burgers they cooked.
The Marching Band is ready to go and on our way to Hannibal for our first competition of the season!
